We may collect information from you by asking you to provide it to us on a printed form or on-line.  For instance, if you choose to signup for our mailing list, we will ask for your name and email address.  If you choose to make a donation, we will ask you to provide us, or a third party payment processor, with certain personally identifiable information, including your name, address, telephone number, and payment information, in order for us to process and acknowledge your donation.

We may decide to send our users email or other communications.  If you decide that you would no longer like to receive such messages you can “opt-out” from receiving such messages from the Museum.  In order to “opt-out” you can click on an “unsubscribe” link provided at the bottom of every commercial e-mail that you receive from the Museum.  If you opt-out you will continue to receive communications from us relating to any donations you make.  If you decide at a later time that you would like to receive commercial emails from us, you may be able to re-add yourself to our communication list.

With Whom Do We Share Information?

The Museum may rent, sell, or share your information with other people or companies, including but not limited to the following circumstances:

Sharing Your Information with Third Parties.  The Museum may share the information you provide, such as your name and your postal address, with other reputable organizations and companies whose products and services might interest you.  Please note that the privacy policies of these organizations and companies may differ from ours.

Sharing Your Information with Subcontractors.  From time to time we may share information with subcontractors that provide us with services.  These services may include, among other things, helping to provide services that you request, helping to create or maintain our databases, helping to research and analyze the people who request services or information from us, and/or helping to process payment card information.
